Redmi 7A Pros and Cons Review | Advantages / Pros
Redmi 7A has many features that justify its price; however, we can’t trust them unless we have tested it manually. Specs sheet often looks promising but when it comes to performance, many mobile phones disappoint us. This is my personal experience. Anyway, I have used this handset for more than a week and ready to share the detailed Redmi 7A pros and cons review. Let’s begin.
1. Nice-looking Display
The handset costs CNY 549 (approx. INR 5,500) in China. For this price, the display is good. The 5.45 inches HD display is good enough to watch movies and YouTube videos. Also, it is bright enough to be operated under direct sunlight. However, it does not have any protection so I would suggest you to use tempered glass. It was the first of Redmi 7A pros.
2. Decent Performance
Coming to the second of Redmi 7A advantages, its performance is decent. You can play normal games without any lag or stutter. Plus, Adreno 505 graphics processing unit is capable of handling normal graphics. I also tried installing PUBG Mobile in this phone. Unfortunately, it does not work properly in even lowest graphics settings. It lags often. But again, it is not a gaming phone and it was something I expected before installing the game.
3. Good Camera
Redmi 7A comes with a good pair of cameras powered by AI technology. During broad daylight, it is capable of producing bright and sharp images. AI features are add on and makes your photos look more beautiful than the normal ones. However, its low-light performance is not reliable. Its daylight camera performance stands at #3 in the list of Redmi 7A pros.
4. Good Battery
Coming to the 4th Redmi 7A advantages, its 4,000 mAh battery is more than enough to run this handset for more than 1.5 days. During moderate usage, the handset easily lasts one and a half day on a single charge. So yes, its battery performance is reliable and you can count on it.
5. Latest Android
Xiaomi never compromises when it comes to software. The Redmi 7A is loaded with the latest MIUI 10 skin based on Android 9.0 Pie. It’s good to have the latest software, right? It was the last among other Redmi 7A pros.

Redmi 7A Pros and Cons Review | Disadvantages / Cons
1. Insufficient RAM
Xiaomi could have equipped the Redmi 7A with a bigger RAM memory. If so, the handset could have easily handled the PUBG Mobile on the lowest graphics settings. Anyway, it doesn’t bother because the price is too low. It was the first disadvantage among other Redmi 7A cons.
2. Unreliable Lowlight Camera Performance
The lowlight camera performance of Redmi 7A is not reliable; however, with proper lights, it can take good photos. If you are a photography lover, this phone is not for you. Its bad lowlight camera performance stands at #2 in the list of Redmi 7A disadvantage.
